Okay, so it’s not Sunday night but that’s the name Nigella Lawson gives to this recipe in her original cook book How to Eat: The Pleasures and Principles of Good Food. Unlike many books today, this one isn’t full of pictures so it may be a bit harder to pick your recipe from it, but the book’s never let us down.
It’s a surprisingly easy recipe too – the only bit which takes any time is marinating the chicken in soy sauce, mirin, and rice wine with chilli and garlic. Once that’s done just cook the noodles, throw in the veggies and fry the chicken. Then serve the noodles and veg with some stock and throw the chicken and reduced marinade on top. Delicious!
